The long version of about us

The two of us started making soap in December 2022 in the basement of a townhouse next to George Mason University. We decided to start making soap when Ram came to Ryn talking about how he wanted to start a business. He mentioned the idea of a hemp-based soap business, and Ryn asked what kind of soap he would make. Ramish was confused, but said "hand soap?" To which Ryn said, "yeah, what kind of hand soap. Hot process, cold process, or melt and pour?" Ramish didn't know there were even different ways to make soap, let alone that Ryn knew so much about soap. For at least five years before they met, Ryn had enjoyed watching Royalty Soaps Youtube channel and had just been learning how to make soap with no real plan to make any soap. Thus began the start of their business, despite neither of them having made soap before hand.

With the donation from a family friend who stopped selling soap, the two of us began learning the beautiful science of soap making. Working out of basement and shared kitchen in a townhouse, we began making small batches of soap. The first batches we made just to see if we could do it, giving them to friends and family for their thoughts. After slowly making more recipes we made our first sale! Selling only through word of mouth we slowly made a few sales and immediately made more soap.

In July 2023 we made the decision to sell our soaps at the Clarke County Fair in Berryville, VA. We got our LLC in August in order to sell at the fair, and were absolutely blown away by the response we got. This gave us the confidence to continue making and selling soaps. We continued to grow our business and started selling at different fairs, events, and at a few in person stores! After attending the 2024 Clarke County Fair and having our soaps almost completely sell out, we made the decision to start a website and hopefully reach a wider audience!
